It signals deep pain within your inner child. If these dreams persist after leaving the narcissist, it hints at unresolved trauma. 

Experiencing them in the relationship suggests a lack of trust and empathy from the other person. Dealing with a covert narcissist is not easy because they manipulate, making you doubt yourself.

It might show that you’ve absorbed feelings of shame and disgust from the narcissist. 

They’ve made you believe you’re a burden, unworthy of love. They know how to make you doubt yourself, making you feel like you’re just not good enough. 

This can lead to deep shame and feeling disconnected from yourself. Remember, the dirt you see isn’t yours, it’s the narcissist’s negativity projected onto you. 

Don’t carry their burden of shame. 

This dream might also suggest encountering someone truly toxic, emitting negative energy. They’re not capable of change or redemption.
